Description
JOVEN.LAT is an app and internet platform that offers free public and private opportunities for 10-39 year olds in Latin America.
This program was launched in 2017. It is currently in an advanced beta phase. It is developed and maintained by its iniciator and director, Daniel Monteiro (Montevideo), as well as by a team located in Paraguay.
Objectives
JOVEN.LAT aims to initiate a 'resonant' digital ecosystem (between offers and requests) of opportunities for vulnerable 10-39 year olds in Latin America.
Activities
Today, JOVEN.LAT has identified, organized and published more than 5'600 platforms offering nearly half a million employment and learning opportunities throughout Latin America.
The creation of traffic has been ensured through numerous communication channels (local radio and television, social networks). A crowdsourcing system has just been launched, allowing organizations and users to feed JOVEN.LAT with their own opportunities.
Budget
The annual budget is approximately CHF 30'000. This money finances the Latin American team for the development and maintenance of the platform, as well as the feeding of new opportunities and the management of those coming from crowdsourcing.
